I’m Christina Carter and I’ve been with Optimal Dynamics for 5 years - I was employee #6! I live in Mamaroneck, NY and am the Senior Director of Support Engineering.
I like to say that I am the chief investigator for live customer issues… this includes troubleshooting and spearheading bug fixes and product enhancements across Analytics, Engineering, Product, and Customer Success.
I was excited to join Optimal Dynamics because it gave me the chance to build a one-of-a-kind product from the ground up, in a quickly changing and hugely important industry.
Having been here for the past 5 years, I’ve come to appreciate the curiosity and collaboration across the organization. Those are both at the core of the Optimal Dynamics culture.
I have the unique opportunity to work with every team at OD. I love working with such talented and kind people. I especially love learning the ins and outs of our AI engine. I learn something new every day!
My biggest accomplishment has been my ability to bring my skills to many departments at OD. Starting out as a senior software engineer and building our first-ever customer-facing product Smart Charter, then helping build out our Plan platform as an engineering manager, and finally using my deep technical expertise to build out a Support platform and process to help the company quickly address customer issues.
I am confident in my ability to work across teams, and to rely on my experience and technical knowledge to make decisions and solve problems. I understand the technical side of what we do and how it relates to the customer and the product.
I have 3 kids under the age of 6. I don’t have any free time! But if I did, I’d play field hockey and cook new vegan dishes.
I am a big water skier and have even water skied on the Hudson River in NYC!
