Tell us about yourself and how long you’ve been with Optimal Dynamics.
I joined Optimal Dynamics on September 1st, 2021. I'm happily married to my wife, Lyndsey, and together we have a 3-year-old son, Owen. We also share our home with two goldendoodles, Stan and Gibby.
Can you summarize your job in 1-2 sentences?
I develop integrations to enable seamless data flow between our systems and our customers' systems.
What inspired you the most to join Optimal Dynamics?
I was inspired by the incredible intersection of technology and the logistics industry, and the innovations that have emerged from it. Optimal Dynamics is at the forefront of tech innovation in logistics, bringing decision-making value that’s set to transform how the industry operates. Being part of Optimal Dynamics’ pioneering work in this space was something I was truly excited about.

I enjoy coding and solving complex problems—it’s incredibly satisfying to break down difficult challenges and develop solutions that make a real difference.
How does your work impact our product, and, therefore, the industry?
My work directly impacts the quality of data that fuels our decision-making engine. By ensuring our data is accurate and insightful, I help produce high-quality outcomes that empower our customers and contribute to broader industry advancements.
What have been your biggest accomplishments on our team, and what was the impact on the product/company?
Implementing two-way dispatching has been a major accomplishment. This feature enables our customers to make real-time decisions within the Optimal Dynamics UI, and those updates automatically sync with their TMS. This integration has significantly improved user efficiency, reduced the risk of data discrepancies, and enhanced customer satisfaction by streamlining operations.
How have you grown professionally while on our team?
Working with the team has given me the opportunity to deepen my skills in writing advanced, high-performance code. The collaborative environment here encourages me to continuously refine my technical approach, optimize solutions, and stay ahead of emerging best practices.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy woodworking, working on our house, playing pretty much any sport, and video games.
Can you share a hidden talent that no one knows about you?
I have a knack for repairing household appliances. I enjoy diving into the mechanics and figuring out how things work.
